BURKERT 20089126 Type 2961 is a manually operated 2-way globe control valve designed for excellent control accuracy under demanding operating conditions. It consists of a manual actuator made of high-quality PPS plastic and a globe valve body with exchangeable seats made of high-quality stainless steel. The precise spindle guide enables reliable control, while the soft PTFE seal guarantees tight shut-off. The packing gland uses tried-and-tested V-seals with spring compensation, eliminating the need for manual adjustment.

Product Design and Assembly

Position Indicator

When turning the handwheel counterclockwise, the reproducible stroke scale becomes visible between the attachment and the handwheel. The scale on the handwheel, together with the stroke scale, enables reproducible adjustment of the flow rate.

Installation Note

The device can be installed in any position, but it is recommended to install it with the actuator facing upwards. Ensure pipelines are aligned before connection and observe the flow direction indicator on the valve body.

Safety Warning

Risk of injury due to high pressure and escaping medium. Switch off the pressure before working on the device or system. Vent or drain the lines. Ensure a controlled restart after installation.
