BURKERT 309490 (Type 2060) pneumatically operated 2/2-way angle seat valve. Features a stainless steel actuator, PTFE seat seal, up to 16 bar operating pressure, and -10 to 185 °C medium temperature.

BURKERT 309490 (Type 2060) pneumatically operated 2/2-way angle seat valve with a stainless steel actuator fulfills the demands of tough process environments. Unrivalled life time and sealing integrity is guaranteed by the trusted self-adjusting packing gland. The stainless steel actuator has been designed for tough applications, and laser welding ensures it is both cleanable and robust. With a ducted exhaust air port, the actuator can be operated isolated from the environment to guarantee an optimum life time and hygiene. High flow rates are attained with the optimised stainless steel angle seat body.
This specific 309490 model features Control Function B (normally open), a PTFE seat seal, a nominal seat diameter of 25 mm, and is rated for operating pressures up to 16 bar and medium temperatures from -10 °C to 185 °C. All wetted parts comply with the EC Directive 1935/2004.
| Product properties | |

Depending on the variant, the valve seat is closed with or against the medium flow. Spring action (CF A) or pneumatic pilot pressure (CF B and CF I) generate the closing force on the swivel plate. Force is transmitted through a spindle connected to the piston actuator.
WARNING
Risk of damage due to bursting pipes and bursting equipment when the flow is above the seat. In the case of liquid mediums, water hammer can occur causing pipes and the device to burst. Do not use valves with flow above the seat for liquid mediums.

DANGER
Risk of injury from high pressure in the system. Before working on the system or device, switch off the pressure and vent or empty the lines.
NOTE
Damage to the seat seal or seat contour. When removing or installing the actuator, or when rotating the actuator, the valve must be in the open position.
