BURKERT 344501 (Type 2000 CLASSIC) is a pneumatically operated 2/2-way angle seat valve designed for the controlled flow of gaseous media and steam. It features a robust stainless steel body with a weld end connection (DN 50, ISO 4200) and a PA (Polyamide) actuator. The valve operates with flow above the seat and utilizes Control Function A (normally closed by spring force). High flow rates are attained with the virtually straight flow path, while the reliable self-adjusting packing gland provides high sealing integrity.

These maintenance-free and robust valves are optimized for decentralized process automation and can be retrofitted with a comprehensive range of accessories for position indication, stroke limitation, or manual override.

Risk of damage due to bursting pipes

Risk of damage due to bursting pipes and bursting equipment when the flow is above the seat. In the case of liquid mediums, water hammer can occur, causing pipes and the device to burst. Do not use valves with flow above the seat for liquid mediums.
