Burkert 377821 (Type 2101) pneumatically operated 2/2-way globe valve. Features G1 1/2 internal thread, PTFE seal, stainless steel body, and flow below seat.

BURKERT 377821 (Type 2101) is a pneumatically operated 2/2-way globe valve ELEMENT designed for decentralised process automation. It features a G1 1/2 internal thread connection, a 40 mm nominal seat diameter, and operates with a flow direction below the seat. The valve is equipped with a self-adjusting V-seal packing gland for maximum service life and high seal tightness. The highly integrated system of valve and automation unit is characterised by its compact design, integrated pilot air ducts, and high resistance to chemicals.
This model operates with Control function A (CF A): Pneumatically operated 2/2-way on/off valve, flow direction below seat, normally closed by spring force.

WARNING
Valve leak if there is too little minimum pilot pressure or high operating pressure! Minimum pilot pressure that is too low, or failing to meet the permitted operating pressure, can cause a leak in the valve seat. Adhere to minimum pilot pressure and do not exceed the operating pressure.
The globe valve consists of a pneumatically actuated piston actuator and a 2-way body. The actuator is made from polyphenylene sulphide (PPS). Spring force generates the closing force on the swivel plate. A spindle connected to the actuator piston transmits the force. As the medium is present under the swivel plate, the operating pressure contributes to the opening of the valve.

ATEX / IECEx Safety
When used in a potentially explosive area, ensure the device is grounded. For plastic valve bodies, ground the actuator separately. Only wipe the device surface with a damp or anti-static cloth to prevent electrostatic charging.
DANGER
Risk of injury from high pressure in the system or device. Before working on the system or device, switch off the pressure and ventilate or empty the lines.
