Burkert 19038 (Type 0331) is a direct-acting, media-separated pivoted armature solenoid valve configured for 3/2-way normally closed (Circuit Function C) operation. This specific model features a brass body with a flange connection, NBR seals, a 4.0 mm orifice, and operates on 12 V DC. It is designed to handle pressures from -1 to 3 bar and medium temperatures up to 80 °C. The solenoid coils are moulded with a chemically resistant epoxy, and the coil system is separated from the medium by a diaphragm, making the Type 0331 family suitable for critical media.

Installation and Operation

Manual Override

When the manual override is locked, the valve cannot be electrically actuated.

  1. Press and hold the manual override.
  2. Turn manual override clockwise to lock.

Electrical Connection

  1. Connect L1/+ and N/– to terminals 1 and 2 independently of the polarity.
  2. Connect the protective conductor.
  3. Install an approved cable plug (e.g., Type 2518 or 2509 in accordance with DIN EN 175301-803 Design A).
  4. Observe voltage and current type in accordance with the type label.
  5. Screw the cable plug in place, observing the maximum torque of 1 Nm.
