Spirax Sarco DP27 pilot filter element and cap gasket (Spare parts E and F) are essential maintenance components for the DP27, DP27E, DP27R, and DP27Y pilot operated pressure reducing valves. Note that these specific parts are not required for the DP27G and DP27GY models.

Interchangeability

The pilot filter element and pilot filter cap gaskets are fully interchangeable across all valve sizes from 1/2" (DN15) up to DN50.

How to Renew the Pilot Filter Element

WARNING

Before undertaking any maintenance work, ensure that the valve has been isolated and the upstream and downstream pressures are zero.

1. Isolate the pressure reducing valve and release the pressure to zero.
2. Unscrew the filter cap and carefully remove the filter element.
3. Fit the new element and tighten the filter cap, recommended torque 90 - 100 N m.

TIP

The pilot filter cap gasket is suitable for reuse.
