Safety Considerations

The three types of cautionary items (Danger, Warning, Caution) are very important for safety; be sure to observe all of them. Do not use for toxic, flammable, or otherwise hazardous fluids. NEVER apply direct heat to the float. The float may explode due to increased internal pressure, causing accidents leading to serious injury or damage to property and equipment. Do not use this product outside the specification range.

Torque Requirements

TLV DC3S torque table

For body bolts, sizes 15 to 40 mm require a torque of 60 N·m.

Proper Installation

Installation, inspection, maintenance, repairs, disassembly, adjustment and valve opening/closing should be carried out only by trained maintenance personnel.

Operational Check

Open the inlet valve and outlet valves and check to make sure that the separator trap functions properly.

NEVER expose the float to heat directly. It could explode due to an increase in internal pressure, and cause accidents leading to serious injury.
