

TLV VAS is a cast iron rapid initial air vent with a free float design. It vents large volumes of initial air at start-up and functions as a vacuum breaker. Max 10 barg, 100°C.

TLV VAS is a float-type mechanical rapid initial air vent designed for water systems. It rapidly vents large volumes of initial air at system start-up. After venting the initial air, the vent can also serve as a vacuum breaker to facilitate drainage by introducing air into the system.

Once the valve closes after discharging initial air, it will not open again, even if air accumulates inside the product, until the internal pressure drops to near atmospheric pressure. If air is expected to accumulate in the piping during operation, use it together with an automatic air vent.
