Yoshitake BSV-10S and BSV-10ST stainless steel bellows valves are designed to advance hydrogen and decarbonized society applications. They feature SUS316 and PTFE wetted parts, making them highly reliable for corrosive fluid applications and various fluids used in hydrogen production processes. The valves utilize a PTFE-based bonnet gasket specifically engineered for hydrogen leak prevention.

Valve Seat Options

The series provides two selectable valve seat options to meet different operational requirements:

  • BSV-10S: Metal Seat
  • BSV-10ST: Soft Seat (PTFE)

Installation and Operation

Installation Caution

  • Store the product indoors in a dust-free, low humidity, dry and ventilated environment.
  • To use the valve for high-temperature fluids (approximately 200°C or higher), raise the valve temperature to the operating temperature, and then tighten the bolts additionally. Ensure the valve is open, and tighten the bolts in a diagonal sequence using a torque wrench.

Operation Guidelines

  • When using the product with its valve fully open, turn the handle counterclockwise by 45 degrees from the fully open position to prevent the valve from being stuck.
  • Do not try to turn the handle beyond its fully open/closed positions. Otherwise, the valve may be damaged.
  • When applying grease to the sleeve, remove the lock bolt and put grease into the screw hole (recommendation: Henkel LOCTITE LB 8150).

Troubleshooting
