Burkert 20016504 Type 3360 electromotive 2-way angle seat control valve. Features 3/4" G internal thread, PTFE seal, 24 V DC supply, and 0-25 bar operating pressure.

Burkert 20016504 Type 3360 is an electromotive 2-way angle seat control valve designed for control tasks under demanding operating conditions. The electromotive actuator with a ball screw positions the control cone with high precision. It features a positioning speed of up to 6 mm/s that reacts quasi delay-free to process signals. Pressure variations or shocks in the medium are not transferred to the valve position. The actuator and valve are adapted to each other with a closed design and robust surface, ensuring hygienic requirements for fast and residue-free cleaning. The valve provides a degree of protection of IP65 / IP67 and high impact and vibration resistance.

In addition to the maximum operating pressures, the application range of Burkert process valves is limited by the nominal pressure in accordance with the relevant standard.

The maximum permissible temperature for the environment and the medium are dependent on each other. The maximum allowable temperature curves of different device variants are shown in the temperature chart.

The electromotive linear drive consists of a brushless DC motor, a gear, and a spindle system that transfers the force to the closing element. The integrated control electronics are controlled either by standard signals or via a fieldbus (digital). The electromotive linear actuator is designed to provide optimum efficiency, keeping the valve tight and in position even at the maximum specified medium pressure in a powerless standstill.
WARNING
Risk of injury from high pressure. Before working on the system or device, switch off the pressure and vent or drain lines.
TIP
If the supply voltage is not applied, e.g. during installation or in the event of a power failure, the valve position can be changed using the mechanical manual override. The mechanical manual control may be used in a de-energized state only, otherwise the device may be damaged.
