BURKERT 20023397 Type 3361 Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve, 2" Flange

Bürkert Type 3361 (SKU 20023397) electromotive 2-way globe control valve. Features 2" ANSI B16.5 flange, stainless steel body, 24V DC supply, and integrated process controller for highly precise dynamic control.

BURKERT 20023397 Type 3361 Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve, 2" Flange

BURKERT Type 3361 (SKU 20023397) is an innovative electromotive 2-way globe control valve designed for demanding operating conditions. This specific model features a 2" ANSI B16.5 flange connection, a stainless steel body, and operates on a 24 V DC supply. The electromotive actuator with a ball screw positions the control cone with the highest precision, offering a high positioning speed of up to 6 mm/s that reacts almost delay-free to process signals. Pressure variations or shocks in the medium are not transferred to the valve position.

The valve is equipped with an integrated process controller and an equal percentage (50:1) control cone variant. The closed design and robust surface ensure hygienic requirements for fast and residue-free cleaning are met. With a degree of protection of IP65/IP67 and NEMA 4X, along with high impact and vibration resistance, the Type 3361 is highly reliable in harsh environmental conditions.

Product Design and Assembly

The electromotive linear drive consists of a brushless DC motor, a gear, and a spindle system that transfers the force to the closing element. The integrated electronics are controlled either by standard signals or via a fieldbus (digital). The electromotive linear actuator is designed to provide optimum efficiency. At the same time, it keeps the valve tight and in position even at the maximum specified medium pressure in a powerless standstill.

Integrated Process Controller

The additionally implemented PID controller allows process control. The set-point position of the valve is calculated from the external signal (e.g., level, pressure, flow rate, temperature) for the process set-point and the actual process value via the control parameters (PID controller).

:::

WARNING

Risk of injury from high pressure. Before working on the system or device, switch off the pressure and vent or drain lines.

TIP

Adjusting the position control – running X.TUNE After mounting the actuator, run the X.TUNE function. Do not run X.TUNE without requirement! The X.TUNE function must be run again only when the actuator has been removed afterwards or the valve body has been changed. Never run the X.TUNE under medium pressure.
