BURKERT 20079726 Type 8652 AirLINE Valve Island

BURKERT 20079726 Type 8652 AirLINE valve island optimized for process automation. Features 16 valve ports, Industrial Ethernet, AirLINE Quick adapter, and IP20 protection.

BURKERT 20079726 Type 8652 AirLINE Valve Island

BURKERT 20079726 Type 8652 AirLINE valve island has been especially developed for process automation requirements. New diagnostic functions can be visualised on the LC display, both in clear text as well as symbols. This makes it easy to relate to the shown messages and helps to save time during start-up and maintenance. The hardware is optimised for installation at the bottom of the control cabinet. Moreover, key pneumatic functions ensure increased process reliability, such as check valves in the exhaust air ducts that prevent unplanned actuation due to pressure peaks.

This specific configuration (SKU 20079726) features a 16-bank setup with an Aluminium AirLINE Quick adapter, Industrial Ethernet communication, and brass pneumatic connections.

AirLINE Quick

AirLINE Quick considerably reduces the use of components in the control cabinet. With the AirLINE Quick Adapter, the valve terminal is adapted directly to the control cabinet floor or control cabinet wall.

Advantages:

  • Reduced space requirement in the control cabinet.
  • Makes it possible to use more compact control cabinets.
  • Reduced installation effort due to hose connections directly at the bottom of the control cabinet.

Safety Instructions for Hazardous Locations

Danger from Electrical Voltage

  • Before working on the device or system, disconnect the power supply and secure against reactivation.
  • In an existing explosive atmosphere, the connection terminals for 24 V supply, SIA, EVS, and digital inputs may only be plugged in or unplugged when de-energized.
  • The use of the Hot Swap function is prohibited in an existing explosive atmosphere unless it is ensured by suitable testing equipment that no explosive atmosphere is present during the procedure.

Electrostatic Charge Hazard

  • Sudden discharge of electrostatically charged devices or persons can cause an explosion in hazardous areas.
  • Take appropriate measures to prevent electrostatic charging in the hazardous area.
  • Clean the device surface only by wiping it gently with a damp or antistatic cloth.
