BURKERT 20092582 Type 0331 3/2-Way Direct-Acting Solenoid Valve

Burkert Type 0331 (SKU 20092582) 3/2-way direct-acting pivoted armature solenoid valve. Features a 2.0mm orifice, brass body, flange connection, NBR seal, and operates at 120V/60Hz for pressures up to 12 bar.

BURKERT 20092582 Type 0331 3/2-Way Direct-Acting Solenoid Valve

BURKERT Type 0331 (SKU 20092582) is a direct-acting, media-separated pivoted armature solenoid valve. It is configured as a 3/2-way valve with circuit function T (universal use). The solenoid coil is moulded with a chemically resistant epoxy, and the coil system is separated from the medium by a diaphragm, making it highly suitable for critical and aggressive media. This specific model features a 2.0 mm orifice, a brass body, NBR seals, and a flange connection, operating at 120V/60Hz.

Installation and Safety

DANGER!

Risk of injury from high pressure in the system/device ▶ Before working on equipment or device, switch off the pressure and deaerate/drain lines.

Risk of injury from electric shock ▶ Before working on the system or device, switch off the power supply and secure against reactivation.

Before Installation

  • Installation position: As required, preferably with actuator upright.
  • Dirt trap: For safe operation of the solenoid valve, a dirt trap (≤ 500 µm) must be installed before the valve inlet.

Installation

  • Pay attention to flow direction: The device will function properly only if the circuit function is observed.
  • Fastening the device: using the screws supplied, fasten to base devices or connection plate.
  • Tighten the fastening screws on the coil with a maximum torque of 2 Nm.

Electrical Connection

DANGER

There is a risk of electric shock if the protective conductor is not connected. ▶ Connect protective conductor and check electrical continuity between coil and body.

Pin Assignment Standard Variant

The pin assignment depends on the circuit function. For Circuit Function T:

  • Connection 1: NC
  • Connection 2: IN/OUT
  • Connection 3: NO

  1. Cable plug
  2. Seal

▶ Connect L1/+ and N/– to terminals 1 and 2 independently of the polarity. ▶ Connect the protective conductor. ▶ Screw the cable plug in place, observing the maximum torque of 1 Nm.
