BURKERT 20134740 Type 2974 manually operated T-diaphragm valve. Features DN 25 welded connection, advanced PTFE/EPDM diaphragm, PPS handwheel, and stroke limitation.

BURKERT 20134740 Type 2974 manually operated T-diaphragm valve consists of a manually operated actuator, a diaphragm, and a T-valve body. The manual actuator with a plastic handwheel (PPS) ensures reliable use in hygienic or aggressive ambient conditions. The flow-optimized valve body with minimum dead space enables high flow values and a wide range of possible applications in the food, beverage, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries.

The actuator features a compact, autoclavable design and is equipped with a visual position indicator with a reproducible stroke scale. The Type 2974 (FullFunction) actuator also possesses an adjustable minimum and maximum stroke limitation and a locking mechanism to prevent accidental or unauthorized operation.

INFO
The following tightening torques refer to the static media pressures specified. Excessive torque can shorten the service life of the diaphragm. A tolerance of +10% applies to the tightening torques specified.
| Diaphragm size | Maximum static operating pressure [bar] | Tightening torque for advanced PTFE/EPDM [Nm] |
|---|---|---|
| 25 | 10 | 3.5 |
DANGER
Risk of injury due to high pressure and escaping medium. Switch off the pressure before working on the device or system. Vent or empty the lines.
Installation position of T-valve body: The following installation positions are recommended for the installation of the T-valves in circular pipelines to ensure self-draining:

Welding Preparations: The actuator and diaphragm must be dismantled before welding the valve body into the pipeline to prevent damage to the components.
A minimum and maximum stroke limit can be set for Type 2974 using the integrated adjusting sleeve.
