The diaphragm valve can be installed in any position, preferably with the actuator facing up. To ensure optimum self-draining, the installer and operator must observe specific inclination angles.

TIP
For leakage detection, one of the relief bores in the diaphragm bonnet must be at the lowest position. The relief bore must be regularly inspected for any medium leakages.
The device actuator is maintenance-free if operated within specifications. Components subject to natural wear are the seals and the diaphragm.
DANGER
Disassembling a pressurised device can cause medium to escape unexpectedly or a sudden discharge of pressure. Before disassembly, shut off the pressure, vent all lines, and completely drain the system.
