Burkert Type 2301 (SKU 367421) 2-way pneumatic globe control valve. Features a stainless steel body, DN 10 flange connection, and flow-optimized design for excellent control.

Burkert Type 2301 (SKU 367421) is a pneumatically operated 2-way globe control valve designed to fulfil tough criteria for process environments. Unrivalled cycle life and sealing integrity is guaranteed by the proven self-adjusting spindle packing with exchangeable V-seals. Each globe valve body can be fitted with up to five sizes of trim sets. These parabolic trims provide a reliable and repeatable characteristic to vary the flow. The design enables the easy integration of automation modules whether they are digital electropneumatic positioners or process controllers. The fully integrated system has a compact and smooth design, integrated pneumatic lines, IP65/67 protection class, and superior chemical resistance.

The valve seat is always closed against the medium flow. Spring force (CFA) or pneumatic pilot pressure (CFB and CFI) generate the closing force on the control cone. A spindle connected to the actuator piston transmits the force.
Flow Direction Below Seat
Depending on the variant, the valve is closed against the medium flow either with spring force (CFA) or pilot pressure (CFB and CFI). Because the medium pressure is below the control cone, it helps open the valve. Minimum pilot pressure for CFB and CFI that is too low, or failing to meet the permitted medium pressure, can cause a leak in the valve seat.

In addition to the maximum operating pressures, the operating range of Bürkert process valves is limited by the nominal pressure according to the relevant standard.

Risk of injury from high pressure
Before working on the system or device, switch off the pressure and vent or empty the lines.
Risk of injury when opening the actuator
The actuator contains a spring under tension. When the actuator is opened, the spring will jump out and may cause injuries. Do not open the actuator.
