Burkert 387399 (Type 0131) direct-acting 3/2-way normally open solenoid valve. Features a brass body, EPDM seal, G3/8 thread, 24V operation, and handles 0-1 bar.

The BURKERT 387399 (Type 0131) is a direct-acting 3/2-way toggle valve designed for the reliable control of various media. This specific model features a robust brass body and EPDM seals, making it suitable for medium temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +90 °C. It operates as a normally open valve (Circuit Function D) with a G 3/8 internal thread and a 10 mm orifice (DN10), capable of handling pressures from 0 to 1 bar.
Thanks to the diaphragm separation between the actuator and the valve body, the Type 0131 can safely control demanding media. The solenoid is moulded with a highly resistant chemical epoxy and includes integrated "Kick and Drop" electronics for significantly reduced electrical power consumption during operation. It also features a robust, service-friendly manual override.

WARNING
Breaking hazard Do not use the coil as a lever arm during installation.

To override the valve manually, press the manual override (1) and turn it 90° clockwise until it stops.
TIP
When the manual override is locked, the valve can no longer be electrically actuated.
If faults occur, verify that the device is installed correctly, electrical and fluid connections are secure, voltage and pressure are applied, and pipelines are clean.
| Fault | Possible cause |
|---|---|
| Valve does not actuate | Short circuit or coil interrupted Operating pressure outside the permitted pressure range Manual override locked |
| Valve does not close | Interior of the valve soiled Manual override locked |
