BURKERT 453768 (Type 0331) 3/2-way direct-acting pivoted armature solenoid valve. Features brass body, flange connection, FKM seal, 120V 60Hz, and 0-10 bar pressure range.

BURKERT 453768 3/2-Way Direct-Acting Solenoid Valve (Type 0331)

BURKERT 453768 (Type 0331) is a direct-acting, media-separated pivoted armature solenoid valve. Configured as a 3/2-way mixing valve (Circuit Function E), it is designed for controlling, shutting off, and dosing neutral and aggressive media. The solenoid coils are moulded with a chemically resistant epoxy. Since the coil system is separated from the medium by a diaphragm, the valve is especially suitable for critical media such as aggressive acids and lyes. The 453768 is equipped with a service-friendly, robust manual override for start-up and testing.

Installation and Safety

DANGER!

Risk of injury from high pressure in the system/device ▶ Before working on equipment or device, switch off the pressure and deaerate/drain lines.

Risk of injury from electric shock ▶ Before working on the system or device, switch off the power supply and secure against reactivation. ▶ Observe the applicable accident prevention and safety regulations for electrical devices.

Installation Note

The installation position is flexible, but preferably with the actuator upright. For safe operation of the solenoid valve, a dirt trap (≤ 500 µm) must be installed before the valve inlet.

Manual Override When the manual override is locked, the valve cannot be electrically actuated. ▶ Press and hold the manual override. ▶ Turn manual override clockwise to lock.
