Product Overview

Spirax Sarco IN15, IN25M, IN40M series steam injectors draw liquid through an annular orifice via steam injection action and mix it, the heated fluid is discharged into the tank while creating circulation to ensure thorough mixing and prevent temperature stratification. The compact design is suitable for steam heating of water and other fluids, particularly for boiler feedwater heating and deaeration applications. Three different sizes cover a wide range of flow requirements, and when single unit capacity is insufficient, two or more units can be installed in parallel.

Steam injector selection is based on steam flow rate. The tables below show saturated steam flow data for each model at different system pressures under open tank conditions (3m depth). Values not listed can be calculated by linear interpolation.

Installation Instructions

Basic Installation Requirements

Installation Notes

1. Installation Position: Install at a low position in the tank, preferably at the centerline, with horizontal steam discharge
2. Piping Layout: Piping can be installed inside or outside the tank, steam piping must be securely fixed to prevent vibration and tank wall stress
3. Thread Sealing: Use of suitable adhesive on threaded connections is recommended
4. Installation Spacing: Maintain at least 150mm distance between injectors and between injector and tank wall, injector outlet should be as far as possible from tank wall

Pipe Size Selection

For single injector use, pipe size should match injector size (e.g., IN25M with 25mm pipe); for multiple unit combinations, select according to the following requirements:

Note
