Product Overview
Spirax Sarco LP10-4 level sensor must be used together with the Spirax Sarco LC1350 level controller, primarily for on/off level control and alarm functions in steam boilers, water tanks, and other vessels. Its 4-probe design is particularly suitable for applications with 3-light "electronic display" level/alarm indicators, providing accurate level status feedback.
The sensor body is grounded through the threaded connection, and the boiler or water tank can directly form a grounding circuit. When applied to concrete or plastic water tanks, one of the probes can be used as a grounding terminal, or a separate grounding rod/plate can be used. The product is manufactured with high-quality materials, suitable for complex industrial conditions, with simple installation and maintenance procedures.

Installation Instructions
- Installation position must be compatible with 1" BSP tapered or 1" NPT threaded flange or cover plate. Thread specification must be clearly identified during installation.
- If installed in boilers or water tanks with strong turbulence, it is recommended to use a protection tube with minimum nominal bore of 80mm.
- For outdoor installation, weather protection measures must be provided.
- Terminal blocks are color-coded for easy identification. When disconnecting wires, only the wire cover needs to be opened, and the cable gland does not need to be removed.
Maintenance Requirements
Although boiler water level control systems require periodic testing, the LP10-4 level sensor itself does not require special maintenance procedures, only following standard industrial equipment maintenance practices.
