Yoshitake GD-26-NE Pressure Reducing Valve

Yoshitake GD-26-NE series direct-acting pressure reducing valve for cold and hot water. Features cast bronze construction, 1.0 MPa max inlet pressure, and a built-in strainer.

Yoshitake GD-26-NE Pressure Reducing Valve

Yoshitake GD-26-NE series is a direct-acting pressure reducing valve designed for cold and hot water applications. This valve features a compact and lightweight design with cast bronze (NPb-treated) wetted parts to prevent rusty water. A pressure balance structure maintains the reduced pressure at a constant level without being affected by the inlet pressure. The nominal sizes range from 15A to 50A, incorporating a built-in 40 mesh strainer. Maintenance and inspection can be easily conducted by disassembling the upper side only.

Features

  • Wetted parts are made of corrosion-resistant material to prevent rusty water.
  • Pressure balance structure can keep the reduced pressure at a constant level without being affected by inlet pressure.
  • Maintenance and inspection can be conducted easily by disassembling the upper side only.
  • Compact and lightweight design makes piping works easy.

Installation Precautions

WARNING

  • Before leading fluid into the product, close the stop valves at the inlet and outlet of the product and remove foreign substances and scale from the piping completely by using a bypass line.
  • To adjust the set pressure, turn the adjusting screw slowly.
  • If there is a possibility of freezing or the product is not used for an extended period, completely discharge fluid from the product and pipes.

Adjusting Procedure

  1. Close the stop valves at the inlet and outlet sides of the reducing valve, and take adequate time to blow out fluid by using a bypass line.
  2. Fully open the stop valve at the inlet side slowly, and open the stop valve at the outlet side so that a little fluid can flow through.
  3. Remove the domed cap nut and turn the adjusting screw while watching the pressure gauge at the outlet side. Turn clockwise to increase reduced pressure, and counterclockwise to decrease it.
  4. Fully open the stop valve at the outlet side slowly.
  5. Tighten the domed cap nut after the adjustment is complete.
