Yoshitake GD-29-NE Pressure Reducing Valve, 1.6 MPa

Yoshitake GD-29-NE pressure reducing valve for cold and hot water. Features 1.6 MPa max inlet pressure, JIS 16K FF flanged connection, and cast bronze body.

Yoshitake GD-29-NE Pressure Reducing Valve, 1.6 MPa

Yoshitake GD-29-NE is a pressure reducing valve designed for cold and hot water applications. It operates with an inlet pressure of up to 1.6 MPa and features a cast bronze body with a pressure balance structure to keep reduced pressure constant.

Features

  • Wetted parts are made of corrosion-resistant material to prevent rusty water.
  • Reduced noise.
  • Pressure balance structure can keep the reduced pressure at a constant level without being affected by inlet pressure.
  • Closed structure keeps fluid inside even if the diaphragm is damaged or broken.
  • Maintenance and inspection can be conducted easily by disassembling the upper side only.
  • Compact and lightweight design makes piping works easy.

Installation and Operation

WARNING

  • Completely discharge the pressure inside of the product, piping and equipment before disassembly and inspection.
  • When the product is used for hot fluid, do not touch the product with bare hands. The product having hot fluid may scald your skin.

Precaution for installation

  1. Before installing the product in the piping, be sure to remove foreign substances and scale from the piping.
  2. Be sure to install a strainer at the inlet side of the product of nominal size 65A to 100A.
  3. Install a safety relief valve for equipment protection at the outlet side of the product.
  4. Be sure to install pressure gauges at the inlet and outlet sides of the product.
  5. The product can be installed either horizontally or vertically.
