Yoshitake TSF-10CF float steam trap. Features easy in-line maintenance, air vent operation, and models for 0.01-0.5 MPa and 0.01-1.0 MPa pressure ranges.

Yoshitake TSF-10CF is a float steam trap featuring an easy-maintenance design. Since the main parts are installed on the cover, it is possible to disassemble the cover with the body still installed on the piping, allowing inspection and parts replacement to be conducted easily. The product series includes two main pressure range variants: TSF-10CF-5 (0.01~0.5 MPa) and TSF-10CF-10 (0.01~1.0 MPa).

| Model | Pressure Range |
|---|---|
| TSF-10CF-5 | 0.01~0.5 MPa |
| TSF-10CF-10 | 0.01~1.0 MPa |

The discharge capacity shown in the charts is the maximum value.
TIP
In designing a system, select a steam trap with a sufficient safety factor (two times the regular volume).

Correct installation posture and proper piping are required for normal operation. The allowable tilt from the horizontal line is within ±10°.

WARNING
Adjust the direction of the nameplate in a no-pressure condition after installation. Make sure to support the piping immovably.

Daily and periodic inspections (once a year) are recommended to maintain proper air vent and condensate discharging operations. Do not remove the plug from the cover except when disposing.

Loosen and remove the bolts fixing the cover with a ring wrench (width across flats: 19 mm). Remove the cover and gasket from the body, and pull out the screen. Pull out the spindle from the float holder and remove the float (P) assembly.

Connect the float holder and float (P) assembly with the spindle. Check that the assembly moves smoothly and that the seat surface of the valve is in contact with the seat. Make sure to use a new cover gasket and apply a lubricant agent.

Follow the correct tightening torque for the cover bolts.
