Armstrong TC Series thermostatic clean steam traps (TC-C, TC-R, TC-S) are constructed of 316L stainless steel. Self-draining and highly polished for sterile applications.

Armstrong TC Series thermostatic clean steam traps are designed to handle the special requirements of clean steam systems. The series includes the T-316L stainless steel TC-C, TC-R, and TC-S models, which offer different body configurations to allow for a choice of piping and ease of cleaning. The thermostatic design is free-draining and can operate close to steam temperature at any given pressure. Additionally, the TC-300 series is specifically designed for instrument tracing with extremely low condensate loads.

INFO
Capacities based on differential pressure with no back pressure. Capacities will vary with the degree of subcooling. When greater capacities are required, the trap will automatically adjust to the load, up to the maximum (cold water) capacity shown, by increasing the amount of subcooling.

Installation
The Clean Steam Traps are intended to be installed in vertical lines with downward flow in order to ensure that the trap is self-draining. Verify that the flow direction arrow on the trap is in the correct downward position. If the steam trap has sanitary end connections, do not over-tighten clamps during installation.
Maintenance Safety
Equipment under pressure - Operating temperature > 100°C. Make sure the trap is cold before handling!
Thermostatic Element Replacement (TC-C and TC-R):
INFO
Model TC-S sealed traps are a welded non-repairable design and must be replaced when the trap's service life has expired.
