Product Overview

Spirax Sarco BTM7 series are repairable thermostatic steam traps specifically designed for sanitary steam systems, with the core function of efficiently discharging condensate. The valve body is manufactured from 316L stainless steel with an internal surface finish of 1.6~3.2Ra, meeting sanitary requirements. The product features a self-draining design that enables drainage near saturated temperature, and is individually packaged with a protective cover and sealed in a plastic bag to ensure cleanliness during transportation and storage. Additionally, a fixed discharge port (for opening during failure) and various connection types can be selected to meet different application requirements.

Installation and Usage Instructions

Installation Tips

1. The product is designed for vertical pipeline installation with downward flow direction to ensure free condensate discharge.
2. Avoid exposing the thermostatic element to superheated conditions to prevent element damage.
3. Suitable shut-off valves should be installed upstream and downstream of the steam trap to ensure safety during maintenance and replacement.
