Burkert 20032576 (Type 3281) electromotive 2-way globe proportional valve with integrated positioner. Features G 1/2" port, 0-12 bar range, and 4-20 mA control.

Burkert 20032576 (Type 3281) is a direct-acting electromotive 2-way globe proportional valve designed to control the flow of neutral liquid and gaseous media in closed or open control loops. The valve is driven by a linear stepper motor that converts rotary movement into linear movement via a threaded spindle. The integrated control electronics eliminate the need for external motor control modules. The motor requires no energy to maintain a specific valve opening, which reduces overall plant energy consumption. The 20032576 variant features an integrated positioner, a G 1/2" port connection, an 8 mm seat, and operates within a 0 to 12 bar pressure range using a 4-20 mA input signal.

WARNING
Operating the valve outside the recommended duty cycle limits will result in a significantly reduced service life of the valve. The duty cycle refers to the motor, which is only switched on when the valve moves. Frequent set-point value changes drastically increase the duty cycle of the motor.

Positioner Variant The proportional valve in the position control variant converts an external standard signal (the position set-point value) into a valve position. The position sensor records the current position (POS) of the electromotive valve. This actual position is compared by the positioner with the set-point value (CMD). If there is a control difference, a motor control signal is given to the actuator as the actuating variable.
Process Controller Variant The additionally implemented PID controller can perform process control in the sense of a cascade control. The position setpoint of the valve is calculated from the process setpoint and the actual process value via the control parameters. The process setpoint can be specified by an external signal.
