Burkert Type 6430 (SKU 20061964) is a 3/2-way servo-assisted brass piston valve with NBR seals, NPT 1/4 connection, and 24V DC operation for 1-16 bar pressures.

BURKERT 20061964 3/2-Way Servo-Assisted Piston Valve, Type 6430

Burkert Type 6430 (SKU 20061964) is a servo-assisted 3/2-way piston valve. If the valve is not supplied with auxiliary pilot air, a minimum differential pressure is required for the function. The valve is designed for neutral liquids and gases in the pressure range of 1 to 16 bar in the normally closed (NC) function. A maintenance-free, media-separated 3/2-way pivoted armature valve Type 0331 is used as a pilot valve. In combination with a plug to DIN EN 175301-803 Form A, the valves satisfy degree of protection IP65.

Installation

WARNING

Risk of injury due to electric shock. Before working on the device or system, switch off the power supply. Secure against reactivation. Always connect protective conductor and check electrical continuity between solenoid and body.

  • Install a dirt trap upstream of the valve inlet (≤ 500 µm).
  • Hold the device on the body using an open-end wrench and screw into the pipeline.
  • Screw cable plug tight, ensuring a torque of 50–60 Ncm.
