BURKERT 329281 Type 5282 Servo-Assisted 2/2-Way Diaphragm Valve, 1" NPT, Brass, NBR

Burkert 329281 Type 5282 servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm valve. Features a brass body, 1" NPT internal thread, NBR seal, and operates at 120V with a 0.2-10 bar pressure range.

BURKERT 329281 Type 5282 Servo-Assisted 2/2-Way Diaphragm Valve, 1" NPT, Brass, NBR

Burkert 329281 Type 5282 is a servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm valve designed to control, shut off, and meter neutral media. A minimum differential pressure of 0.2 bar is required for the valve to function. The standard brass body satisfies all European drinking water requirements. The 3/2-way pilot valve can be easily converted from NC to NO circuit function by rotating it on the armature. The solenoid coils are moulded with a chemically resistant epoxy. The 5282 is equipped with a service-friendly manual override for start-up and testing.

INFO

Provided the cable plug is connected and installed correctly (e.g., Bürkert Type 2508), the device satisfies protection class IP65 in accordance with DIN EN 60529 / IEC 60529.

Product Installation

WARNING

Risk of injury from high pressure in the equipment. Before loosening the pipes and valves, turn off the pressure and vent the pipes.

Before Installation:

  • Installation can be in any position. Preferably: Actuator upright.
  • Prior to installation check pipelines for dirt and, if required, clean.

TIP

Dirt filter: To ensure that the solenoid valve functions reliably, a dirt filter (≤ 500 µm) must be installed in front of the valve inlet.

Manual Emergency Actuation: When the manual emergency actuation is locked, the valve can no longer be actuated electrically.

BURKERT 329281 manual emergency actuation

Setting the Switching Times: The closing and opening times of the valve can be changed if required with the side throttle screws.

  • If closing times are fairly short, liquid media cause higher pressure surges. These may reduce the service life of the diaphragm and destroy other devices and components in the system.
  • Discharge of medium if the throttle screws are unscrewed too far.
