Burkert 41224 (Type 0331) is a 3/2-way direct-acting pivoted armature solenoid valve featuring a brass body, NBR seal, G 1/4 thread, and 110V 60Hz operation for 0-10 bar pressures.

BURKERT 41224 Type 0331 3/2-Way Direct-Acting Solenoid Valve, Brass, G 1/4

BURKERT 41224 (Type 0331) is a direct-acting, media-separated pivoted armature solenoid valve designed for controlling, shutting off, and dosing neutral and aggressive media. As a 3/2-way variant with circuit function C (normally closed), it features a brass body and NBR seal, making it suitable for compressed air, water, hydraulic oil, and other neutral media. The solenoid coil is moulded with a chemically resistant epoxy, and the coil system is separated from the medium by a diaphragm. This specific model operates at 110 V / 60 Hz AC and handles pressures from 0 to 10 bar.

Installation and Safety

Safety Instructions

  • Before working on equipment or device, switch off the pressure and deaerate/drain lines.
  • Before working on the system or device, switch off the power supply and secure against reactivation.
  • Observe the applicable accident prevention and safety regulations for electrical devices.

Before Installation The installation position is flexible, but preferably with the actuator at the top. Check pipelines for soiling and clean if required. For safe operation of the solenoid valve, a dirt trap (≤ 500 µm) must be installed before the valve inlet.

Electrical Connection There is a risk of electric shock if the protective conductor is not connected. Connect the protective conductor and check electrical continuity between the coil and body. Install an approved cable plug in accordance with DIN EN 175301-803 Design A.
