Yoshitake AL-150L Safety Relief Valve

The Yoshitake AL-150L is an open-type safety relief valve with a lift lever, designed for steam and air applications. Features a cast bronze body, stainless steel trim, and operates from 0.05 to 1.0 MPa at up to 220°C.

Yoshitake AL-150L Safety Relief Valve

Yoshitake AL-150L is an open-type safety relief valve equipped with a lift lever, specifically designed for steam and air applications. It serves to prevent accidents caused by abnormal pressure rises in various pressure vessels and instrumentation devices. The valve operates within a pressure range of 0.05 to 1.0 MPa and can withstand maximum temperatures up to 220°C.

Features

  • The trim parts (valve and valve seat) and adjusting spring are made of stainless steel. The valve and valve seat utilize cast stainless steel SCS14A (equivalent to SUS316), offering outstanding corrosion resistance.
  • Features a lift lever mechanism that allows a discharge inspection to be manually performed when the system reaches at least 75% of the opening pressure.

WARNING

  • Do not apply this product to devices that do not allow any valve seat leakage. The product has allowable valve seat leakage and does not close completely.
  • Do not use the product for equipment or devices that vibrate excessively. Excessive vibration may result in malfunction.
  • Do not adjust or change the set pressure, as this may result in damage to the equipment.

Installation Notes

Yoshitake AL-150L safety relief valve piping example

DANGER

  • Do not install any closing device such as a stop valve at the inlet or outlet sides of the product. This may hamper the blowout of the safety relief valve and result in damage to the pressure vessel.
  • Install an exhaust pipe on the outlet side, and lead it to a place where there is no risk of physical damage or injury even if fluid blows out.
  • Do not disassemble the product. Disassembly may prevent proper functioning and lead to danger.

Piping Recommendations

  • Clean the inside of the pipe thoroughly and remove any dust or scales before installing the product.
  • Match the direction of fluid flow with the inlet and outlet of the product respectively.
  • Install the product vertically with the cap facing upward.
  • The inner diameters of the pipe mount and exhaust pipe must be larger than those of the product's inlet and outlet to avoid improper back pressure.
