Yoshitake GD-56-80, GD-55-80 Water Pressure Reducing Valve

Yoshitake GD-56-80 and GD-55-80 water pressure reducing valves for hot water heat exchangers. Featuring pressure balance structure, built-in 60 mesh strainer, back-flow prevention, and 80 kPa standard set pressure.

Yoshitake GD-56-80, GD-55-80 Water Pressure Reducing Valve

Yoshitake GD-56-80 home boiler regulator is mainly used for water supply to hot water heat exchangers. It maintains a stable water supply pressure in order to prevent the heat exchanger body from high pressure.

Not just pressure reducing but also has functions of back-flow prevention, negative pressure operation, pressure balancing and a built-in strainer.

Features

  1. The valve is pressure balance structure.
  2. Pipes can be installed either horizontally or vertically.
  3. Valve and diaphragm are made of chlorine resistance synthetic rubber.

Precautions for Installation and Operation

  1. Clean up inside the pipe and remove foreign substances before installing the home boiler regulator.
  2. Water may leak from the negative pressure operating mechanism at the first time of water supplying. Please connect vinyl tube and conduct to drain.
  3. Please be sure to remove foreign substances and scales from inside of the piping before connecting the product to the piping.
  4. Install pipe at the relief valve outlet side and conduct to drain ditch. Also install the relief valve so as to check the operation visually.
  5. Relief valve will be opened by lifting the lever horizontally. Please check the operation 1-2 times a month.
  6. Styrofoam package can be used as heat insulating material to prevent freezing.
