Yoshitake GP-1002 is a pilot-operated piston-type pressure reducing valve designed for steam applications. It features a ductile cast iron body with stainless steel trim, operating with an inlet pressure range of 0.1 to 0.5 MPa and providing a reduced pressure of 0.03 to 0.15 MPa. The spherical main valve ensures excellent sealability and significantly reduces valve seat leakage, complying with ANSI Class IV standards.

The pressure-reducing valve reduces pressure by throttling the valve. It is composed of the main valve and main valve seat for throttling, and adjusting spring, diaphragm, pilot valve, and piston for pressure sensing and activation.


Find the intersection point of the inlet and reduced pressures. If the intersection point is within range (B) or (C) as shown in the chart above, the pressures are controllable by the GP-1002.
