BURKERT 20137624 (Type 3361) Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve

Bürkert 20137624 (Type 3361) electromotive 2-way globe control valve. Features 1/2 inch internal thread, 24V DC supply, 0-25 bar pressure range, PEEK seat seal, and highly precise dynamic closed-loop control.

BURKERT 20137624 (Type 3361) Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve

Bürkert 20137624 (Type 3361) is an innovative electromotive 2-way globe control valve designed for demanding operating conditions. The electromotive actuator with a ball screw positions the control cone with the highest precision. A unique feature is its high positioning speed of up to 6 mm/s, which reacts almost delay-free to process signals and can be varied according to customer demands. Pressure variations or shocks in the medium are not transferred to the valve position.

This specific model (20137624) features a 1/2" G internal thread connection, operates on a 24 V DC supply, and handles pressures from 0 to 25 bar. It is equipped with a PEEK seat seal, making it highly resilient for temperatures ranging from -10 °C to 185 °C. The flow-optimized valve body ensures precise adaptation to process requirements, and the closed design with a robust surface meets hygienic requirements for fast and residue-free cleaning.

Product Design and Assembly

The electromotive linear drive consists of a brushless DC motor, a gear, and a spindle system that transfers the force to the closing element. The integrated electronics are controlled either by standard signals or via a fieldbus (digital).

Maintenance and Service

DANGER!

Risk of injury from high pressure. Before working on the system or device, switch off the pressure and vent or drain lines.

TIP

Spare parts may be replaced only by trained technicians and with the appropriate tools. Always set the operating state to MANUAL and move the valve into the open position before removing the actuator from the valve body.

Replacing the Control Cone:

  1. Set operating state to MANUAL and move valve into open position.
  2. Switch off the supply voltage.
  3. Remove actuator from valve body.
  4. Knock out dowel pin using a suitable pin punch and remove the control cone.
  5. Attach new control cone to the spindle, align bores, and carefully knock in the new dowel pin.

Replacing the Valve Seat:

  1. Remove actuator from valve body.
  2. Select a suitable tool insert and screw it into the installation tool.
  3. Unscrew the valve seat using the installation tool and a wrench.
  4. Clean the thread and sealing surface in the valve body using compressed air.
  5. Grease the new valve seat thread with an approved lubricant (e.g., Klüberpaste UH1 96-402) and screw it in using a torque wrench.
