BURKERT 360353 (Type 6240) 2/2-Way Servo-Assisted Solenoid Valve

BURKERT 360353 (Type 6240) 2/2-way servo-assisted piston solenoid valve. Features G3/8 internal thread, brass body, PTFE seal, 0-16 bar pressure range, and 24V operation.

BURKERT 360353 (Type 6240) 2/2-Way Servo-Assisted Solenoid Valve

BURKERT 360353 (Type 6240) is a servo-assisted piston solenoid valve designed for controlling, shutting off, and dosing neutral media. To enhance pressure resistance and leak-tightness, the stopper and plunger guiding tube are welded together. The housing design and surface quality enable maximum flow rates, while the coils are moulded with chemically resistant epoxy. This specific variant features a brass body, PTFE seals, a G 3/8 port connection, and operates at 24V within a pressure range of 0 to 16 bar.

Key Features

  • Servo-assisted and compact piston valve with a diameter of up to DN 13
  • Vibration-resistant, screwed coil system
  • Energy-saving double coil technology with kick and drop variant available
  • Safe opening with hard-coupled piston system
  • Explosion-proof variants available

Safety Instructions

Risk of injury from high pressure

Before working on the system or device, switch off the pressure and vent/empty the lines.

Risk of injury from electric shock

Before working on the device or the system, switch off the power supply and secure against reactivation. Observe the applicable accident prevention and safety regulations for electrical devices.

Risk of burns and fire

If the device is in continuous operation, the surface may become hot. Keep the device away from highly flammable substances and media and do not touch with bare hands.

Risk of injury from malfunctioning valves with alternating current (AC)

A seized core will cause the solenoid to overheat, which leads to functional failure. Monitor the working process for proper function.
