BURKERT 362831 3361 Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve

BURKERT Type 3361 electromotive 2-way globe control valve features dynamic closed-loop control, positioning speeds up to 6 mm/s, and IP65/IP67 protection.

BURKERT 362831 3361 Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve

BURKERT Type 3361 electromotive 2-way globe control valve provides highly precise, dynamic closed-loop control for demanding operating conditions. The electromotive actuator with a ball screw positions the control cone with a positioning speed of up to 6 mm/s, reacting almost delay-free to process signals. Pressure variations or shocks in the medium are not transferred to the valve position. Each flow-optimized valve body can be equipped with up to 5 different valve seats for precise adaptation to specific flow requirements. The closed design features an IP65/IP67 degree of protection and high impact and vibration resistance.

Product Design and Assembly

The electromotive linear drive consists of a brushless DC motor, a gear, and a spindle system that transfers the force to the closing element. The integrated electronics are controlled either by standard analogue signals or via a digital fieldbus (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, EtherCAT).

Integrated Position Controller

The position of the actuator (stroke) is controlled according to the position set-point value. The displacement transducer records the actual position of the electric linear actuator, and the positioner compares this with the set-point value to adjust the motor drive accordingly.

Safety Position via Energy Storage

The safety starting positions in case of power interruption are realized with the optional SAFEPOS energy-pack. The desired position (open, closed, or intermediate) is set via the menu. Without the energy storage, the valve remains in its last position upon power failure.
