BURKERT Type 3361 electromotive 2-way globe control valve. Features highly precise dynamic control, up to 6 mm/s positioning speed, and IP65/IP67 protection.

BURKERT Type 3361 electromotive 2-way globe control valve is designed for control tasks under demanding operating conditions. The electromotive actuator with a ball screw positions the control cone with high precision. The valve features a high positioning speed of up to 6 mm/s, reacting almost delay-free to process signals. Pressure variations or shocks in the medium are not transferred to the valve position. Each flow-optimised valve body can be equipped with up to 5 different valve seats for precise adaptation to specific requirements.
The actuator and valve are adapted to each other with a closed design and robust surface, ensuring the hygienic requirements of fast and residue-free cleaning. The Type 3361 operates reliably in harsh environmental conditions due to its IP65/IP67 degree of protection and high impact and vibration resistance. The fieldbus-compatible Type 3361 provides functions for process monitoring, valve diagnostics, and predictive maintenance.

Depending on the variant, the Type 3361 complies with various standards and approvals:
The electromotive linear drive consists of a brushless DC motor, a gear, and a spindle system that transfers force to the closing element. The integrated electronics are controlled either by standard analogue signals or via a digital fieldbus.

The valve features an equal-percentage flow characteristic according to DIN EN 60534-2-4 (linear characteristic curve available on request). The theoretical rangeability is up to 50:1 depending on the seat size.

The application range of the process valves is limited by the nominal pressure in accordance with the relevant standard, as well as the maximum operating pressures and temperatures.

WARNING
For device variants with specific approvals or conformities, deviating technical operating limits (temperature, pressure) may apply. Always refer to the corresponding approval-related documentation.
