Yoshitake GD-26S-NE is a direct-type pressure reducing valve designed for cold and hot water applications. Constructed with corrosion-resistant cast stainless steel wetted parts, it prevents the generation of rusty water. The valve is equipped with a built-in strainer (for 15A to 50A nominal sizes) and features a pressure balance structure that keeps the reduced pressure constant without being affected by fluctuations in the inlet pressure.

The GD-26S-NE model conforms to the standard of the Japanese Water Supply Act (JWWA approval). Its compact and lightweight design makes piping works easy, and its closed structure ensures that fluid is kept inside even if the diaphragm is damaged or broken. Maintenance and inspection can be easily conducted by disassembling simply from the upper side.

Caution

Before installing the product in the piping, be sure to remove foreign substances and scale from the piping. Keep foreign substances from entering the piping, including seal tape or liquid seal agent for piping connection. Ingress of foreign substances, scale or seal agent into the product leads to valve leakage or malfunction of the product.

Note

The set pressure may be affected by ambient temperature (external temperature) and fluid temperature. Install pipes so that the product may not be exposed to direct sunlight.
