The Yoshitake GD-47R is a direct/pilot type primary pressure regulating valve designed for steam applications. Equipped with a ductile cast iron (FCD450) body and stainless steel bellows, this pressure sustaining valve provides reliable external sensing control for heavy-duty uses with a wide range of flow rates. It is widely applicable in waste-heat boilers, air conditioning equipment, and various factory facilities.

Sensing Pipe Connection Method

Connect the provided sensing pipe (φ8-2 m) and joint (φ8-R 1/4) as shown in the illustration above.

  1. Wind sealing tape around the joint and insert the joint into the pressure sensing side.
  2. Fully insert the sensing pipe into the valve and the pressure sensing side joint. Tighten the cap nut until it can no longer be rotated manually, and then turn the cap nut about one and quarter times with a tool.
  3. Sensing pipe should be connected as straight as possible, and should be cut if it is too long.
